Our new recipe with Fundão Cherry
At Sõsu Kombucha, we like to say that each bottle is made with time, care, and a touch of irreverence. That's why we are extremely proud to present our latest launch: the first Fundão Cherry Kombucha — a true celebration of local flavors and the strength of regional partnerships.
This recipe was born from a special collaboration with the Fundão City Council and local cherry producers, one of the most emblematic products of the region. More than just a new kombucha, this is a tribute to the agricultural tradition of Beira Interior, sustainable innovation, and the authenticity we have always sought to bring to the glass.
Why Fundão Cherry?
The Fundão Cherry needs no introduction. Known for its sweetness, it is one of the most recognized and awarded fruits in Portugal. For us, making a kombucha with this ingredient is more than just enjoying a delicious flavor — it's valuing what is ours.

How was our new Kombucha born?
This flavor was born from a partnership between Sõsu Kombucha and the Fundão City Council, with the support of local cherry producers. The drink maintains our artisanal base, fermented with 100% natural ingredients, without additives or preservatives — and with a subtle, fruity, and fresh touch of cherry.
The cherry is integrated into the second fermentation process, which gives it a sweet and naturally carbonated flavor — the perfect balance between freshness and authenticity.
The result? A light, lively, naturally carbonated drink with an authentic flavor. A true tribute to the Fundão region.
