TO THE CREATION OF A KOMBUCHA FACTORY

The story behind it all

There is good in evil, and this saying is not just popular!

Our story begins after a small scare of chronic gastritis and a course of antibiotics with no long-term improvements. Carolina – the brand's founder – restless and curious, began studying the causes and treatments of the disease and discovered Kombucha as an ally in strengthening good bacteria for the digestive system.

If big problems require big remedies, she took matters into her own hands and started producing her own Kombucha at home, and improvements appeared and lasted over time. Noticing that other people in her circle had similar symptoms to what she

faced, she let them taste it; the effects were positive, and word-of-mouth turned her kitchen into a factory where Kombucha became a specialty. Demand grew, and so did production.

And, with that, the 1st Kombucha factory in central Portugal emerged, with investment in equipment and methods that respect the traditional Kombucha production process, maintaining its integrity and quality.

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is an ancient, naturally fermented drink made from green tea, sugar, and a probiotic culture known as SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast).

During the fermentation process, the SCOBY transforms these simple ingredients into a refreshing drink rich in probiotics, enzymes, and antioxidants, resulting in a unique flavor and beneficial health properties.
